for this project we were tasked with creating our own original paper dolls. I used to play with paper dolls as a child, so researching for this project felt very nostalgic. I immediately knew I wanted to do a doll of a chubby person because I myself am chubby and I think having more positive representation of someone like me would've made my life entirely different and better growing up. 

So, once I had my idea in mind I started looking at other art of chubby people for inspiration as to what kind of style and outfits I should make. once I knew that I started drawing and tweaked a few things before coming to my final result. 

I think one of the biggest things I learned from this project is to pay attention to the written instructions that go on things like this, because as I was in the middle of finishing up I remembered that paper dolls usually have instructions on where to cut things out and such.
